RAK Solar Services

Formed in March 2015, RAK Solar Services is an O&M specialty company offering 365 days a year operation.

RAK Solar Services, founded by Ken Mayer (emeritus), Richard Ethier and Allen Simard, is a company partnered with, but a separate operating entity from E&S Electrical Company, Richard and Allen’s electrical contracting firm.

Our Experienced O&M team provides our clients with a deep knowledge of Solar PV and DAS technical expertise, derived from the years of E&S’s commercial PV construction of dozens of commercial and utility scale solar ground and roof installations throughout the Northeastern United States.

With more than twelve years in the PV and Thermal Industry, commercial and residential sites, extensive knowledge of a multitude of Solar inverters including but not limited to ABB, Chint, Solectria, Fronuis, SMA; central plant inverters as well as string inverters.

  • Successful project management and on-site leader of many large scale commercial and residential roof top and ground mounted PV and Thermal projects with an unwavering eye for detail

  • Skilled in all aspects of O&M with exceptional diagnostics knowledge to keep large scale PV sites running to their full potential

  • Engaged on several projects conducting QA/QC inspections of EPC work on behalf of asset managers and owners
